Job Descriptions Shift Chair Person Please arrive 15 min before the shift begins. Volunteers will be separated into job groups. Walk your groups back on time for alcohol training and hygiene/hand washing instructions. Stay for the whole shift, periodically checking station and volunteers for any problems. Inform the next shift chair of areas of concern Stroller Valet - Outerwear required - heater supplied Parks ticketed strollers and hands ticket to owner. Often answers questions from passerbys. Over 21 Wrist bands - Outerwear required Cards guests and provides them with wristebands to free up entrance table congestion Attendance Counter Clicks off attendance with hand counter Entrance Table - You may sit for this job Collects entrance fee, makes sure over 21 are wristbanded Rear Gate Security - Outerwear Required Stands or sits to guard back gate waiting for supply trucks. Gives patons directions to front entrance. This job is best done in pairs so you have someone to talk to. Sponsor Concierge - Must have Very Personable Attitude Explains how sponsorship works, what coupons gets what, passes out wristbands. Answer questions, and point out Sponsor Area to sponsors. Sponsor Area - Food Server Shift Chair hands you off to My Chef staff for hygiene and hand washing. Rubber gloves must be worn. Sponsor Area - Table Cleaners Table cleaners work best in pairs, with one Over 21 to clear alcohol. Underage volunteers must NOT clear alcohol. Wipe up tables and straighten chairs. Water/Pop/Coffee Sales Under 21 volunteers are welcome. Coffee sales will depend on the weather. Connects with runner when coffee is low, to refill at nearby shop. Accountant Assistants Works with Treasurer, makes pickups and drops off change to other positions. Alpine Hats Table This is a table near the entrance usually worked by a parent/child team. Continously fill table with free htas. Brat Kiosks - New this year. Only Brats are sold here to folks just wanting a Brat and nothing else. Brat Kiosk - New Position Your shift chair hands you off to My Chef staff for hygiene briefing and hand washing. Rubber gloves must be worn when handling food. You work in pairs, one for bread one for meat. Brat Kiosk Cashier Collects money, works in pairs. Food Cashier Runs and collects funds on pre-set price cash registers. Registers are labelled for easy check out. With one major food line, 3 cashiers will be necessary to keep the lines moving. Raffle ticket Sellers You sell tickets to the crowd for outstanding prizes. Table Cleaners - Main Floor Over 21 volunteer clears any alcohol. Under 21 volunteers must NOT touch alcohol. Works in pairs, clears tables, wipes, straigthen chairs. Food Line Servers Shift chair person hands you off to My Chef staff for hygiene briefing and hand washing. Please be on time. Rubber gloves must be worn. Do not leave until your replacement relieves you. Beverage/Wine Sales - Must be over 21 All beer/wine servers must be briefed by a Police Officer before serving alcohol to the public. You will be taken back as a group, please be on time. Wear comfortable shoes that can get dirty and or wet. Interact / Pretzel Sales Adult to supervise students using toaster ovens to make pretzels. Students must see My Chef for hygiene briefing and hand washing instructions. Rubber gloves must be worn. Students work in pairs, one with gloves for pretzels and one for money only. Pretzel Sales All students must see My Chef for hygiene briefing and hand washing instructions. Rubber gloves must be worn. Students work in pairs, one with gloves for pretzels and one for money only. Money will be dropped off to adult supervisor. CAUTION: Exercise SAFETY first when using toaster ovens. Sponsor Area Gatekeeper Located at entrance to the sponsor area, you must check for sponsor wristbands for those entering sponsor area.
